Happy Halloween! Because the 5th Monday of this month falls on a holiday that celebrates identity exploration, I thought it would be interesting to do an interview centered around this theme. My wonderful sister, Claire, was brave enough to do a sort of self care challenge that required her to take on the identities of others to explore different ways of caring for herself. I asked her to choose 3 characters who have styles, attitudes, or self care routines that are very different from her own. Check out her incredibly honest and thoughtful interview below.

I have been looking forward to this post all month, because it features an interview with one of my sweetest friends, Gina Gaetz. I met Gina in college and we immediately bonded over our mutual obsession with the tv show LOST. Kilimanjaro!) after graduating, Haley has covered much of the globe. However, for the past 6 months, she has turned her focus to national travel.

You may have noticed over the past two months, that my blog posts each week fall into one of four categories: introductions to the monthly theme, music, product suggestions, and stories about clients from my clinical practice. This works out well, as there are generally 4 Mondays in each month. However there are a few months this year, February included, that have 5 Mondays, so I have decided to do something special in these cases. Today, and on the 5th Mondays of May, August, and October, I will be posting interviews highlighting the self care routines of individuals in my life. The idea is to take the concept of self care out of an abstract context and look at what it means to people in real life...
